Thanks to efforts of people nationwide, there are many resources available to low-income families, especially for women with children.  There are resources available for housing, food, financial support, medical treatment, domestic violence, mental health, dental care, alcohol/drug treatment and many others. 

For people enrolled in Safe Babies, Safe Moms, the staff are knowledgeable about local resources and can help clients successfully connect with and receive needed services from these organizations.

For people who live in Snohomish County, and in many other areas of the
country, a phone call to 211 will connect the person to an expert in the
availability of local resources.
