  AIDS Outreach Program

Our AIDS Outreach program works with actively using drug
addicted men and women by providing directly and through
referral:

Education,
Outreach,
Detoxification,
Inpatient drug treatment,
Outpatient drug treatment,
Medical services,
Transportation,
Confidential no-cost Hepatitis-C testing, tuberculosis screening,
Confidential no-cost HIV/AIDS screening, influenza vaccines,
HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis transmission reduction methods.

We believe in the principles of harm reduction.  Among injection
drug users, HIV and Hepatitis-C transmission is rampant.  Does
this pose a risk to non-drug users?  Absolutely!  As long as blood borne pathogens can be spread throughout the population,
women and children and society in general will be at risk.

Our goal for AIDS Outreach goes beyond preventing the infection and spread of communicable diseases.

We work with all clients to recover the healthy parts of themselves that will lead them to seek treatment and attain abstinence and
healthy lifestyles.
